CollegeHumor has been around for over a decade (which is like a century in website-years), but we’ve never done anything charitable. That changes today with LOLaid. We are raising money for Haiti relief, and if you chip in we’ll send you some exclusive CollegeHumor originals we are never going to post anywhere else.
Here’s how it works -- Go to FirstGiving.com/CollegeHumor and make a donation to Doctors Without Borders. This wonderful organization is in Haiti providing still much-needed emergency assistance to those who need it, and your donation could help provide them with much needed supplies.
- After you donate you will get an email with a link to three CollegeHumor videos you are never going to see anywhere else. There’s a Hardly Working, a Jake & Amir, and a commercial parody that has lingered unreleased for years because we thought it was too offensive. That’s right, we are using the lure of something upsetting to encourage donations to a good cause. Like I said, we’ve been on the Internet for a while now.
- That’s it. There is no third step! Just enjoy the videos and encourage your friends to donate. That link again is FirstGiving.com/CollegeHumor. Go! Donate! And if you can’t donate, help us spread the word then find someone who can!

If you feel like getting angry at Christians

go to your Netflix streaming queue and turn on Jesus Camp and Deliver Us From Evil.  We’re watching Deliver Us From Evil right now and it’s truly fucked up how this priest feigns his way through remorse of molesting all these children.  Set your eyebrows to angry.

Here’s 5 seconds of finished animation from my Nickelodeon short that I’m randomly posting.

Another classic Mike Parker toon.  Seems a little long though, he should have cut “Oh I think I’ve” and “bored out of my mind.”

Check out this video I made for some guys.  It’s 6 minutes long, it’s about cars powered by semen, and I did it for 50 dollars a minute.  It’s so funny that atom goes straight to the related videos page instead of playing it!

Streaming...

You know, I think it’s pretty damn awesome that I can watch an episode of pretty much any show I want a few hours after it airs on TV.  Conan, The Office, 30 Rock, Parks, Heroes, all of these I’ve watched streaming on NBC.com this week, and that’s awesome.  I also don’t mind 30 second commercials where I’d normally be stuck with a few minutes of ads if I were watching it live.  Annoying as it may be, I don’t really care that they play the same damn commercial over and over and over again either.

So why is it that they have to crank the fucking volume up to 180% every time the commercial plays?  I usually end up watching these late at night, so I put it on a comfortable volume for me to hear everything clearly and not wake everyone in the damn place up.  But no, here comes a commercial for TurboTax with a thumpin’ bass line that’s twice as loud as the goddamn show.  Every time I want to catch up on an episode I missed I end up in a wrestling match with my volume control, trying to find the right balance between, ‘just barely loud enough to hear the show’ vs. ‘just quiet enough to not wake up the neighbors with the commercials.’  It doesn’t exist.

That’s fucking dumb.
